Installation Activities


Sokolovské strojírny, a.s. employs technicians and engineers with wide experience in installation. A number of these individuals have co-operated on projects performed abroad. They are able to communicate in common world languages, such as English, German.

The company has elaborated installation technological procedures for most of installation works and its installation activity is certified even for works on mining equipment. Along with providing installations as part of its own projects, the company also provides installations for other companies. In the case of installations outside Europe, the company secures the performance of the installation works with the assistance of its chief fitters and installation organisations in the given location.

Currently, the plant employs approx. 156 qualified fitters. The annual production is varying around 2500 t of structures.

The plant has the certificate of ČSN EN ISO 9001:2000, and is the holder of "Greater Certificate of Capability" for fabricating steel structures according to ČSN 73 2601-Z2.
