Production
The production capacities in Sokolovské strojírny a.s. are subdivided into two divisions. These divisions are located in the plant area of Sokolovské strojírny in Sokolov and in Cheb.
The plant area of the manufacturing centres is in the view of technologies possible to divide into 5 manufacturing groups, through which production is provided as a complete process. Into basic production technologies it is possible to include the following:
- locksmith-welding hall
- mechanical workshop for small and even bigger components
- assembling and testing hall
- paint spraying shop, jetting box and shipping hall
- development workshop
From the point of view of non-production processes the production centre is added by:
- the store of metallurgical and other material
- the department of technical preparation of production
- the department of material procurement with own transport up to 5t
Basic Manufacturing Technologies
Locksmith – Welding Hall
Manufacturing in this hall is focused on the manufacturing of steel structures, components of machines and technological equipment. For providing of the given program, equipment of the hall is oriented above all on cutting and welding of individual groups of technological complete units.
Mechanical Workshops
Machining processes take place in two separate areas which are equipped with all purpose machining equipment (all purpose lathes, milling machines, horizontal milling machines).
Paint Spraying Room
In the modern spraying room, equipped with jetting equipment, that is capable of jetting on surface Sa 3 of dimensions of 12 x 4 m. After hand degreasing with the use of ecological agents, painting substances are applied. The painting substances are applied mainly by jetting with air spray guns.

Assembly Hall
It is intended for the assembly, completion and checking of the operation of machines and even complete lines, which are checked and tested before they are shipped to a purchaser.
